Privacy Policy
Effective 4 August 2026
NOKTA APP YAZILIM VE TEKNOLOJİ LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ runs nokta.dev and is the data controller for it. This page says what the site collects and what happens to it. It is short because the site does little.
The short version
No accounts, no forms, no payments. We measure traffic with PostHog, hosted in the European Union, configured so that nothing is stored on your device — which is why you are not looking at a cookie banner. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the analytics script is never loaded at all.
Analytics
For each page view, PostHog records the page you are on, the referring page, your browser and operating system, your screen size, and a country and region worked out from your IP address. It also records clicks on links and buttons. We use this to see which articles get read and which pages lead to a booked call.
Analytics requests go to nokta.dev/ph and our server passes them on to PostHog’s EU infrastructure. Your IP address reaches PostHog as part of that hop and is used to derive an approximate location; the events we can see are not stored against your IP.
Events stay in our PostHog project in the EU. We do not export them, sell them, or combine them with anything else, and we do not use them for advertising.
Why there is no cookie banner
PostHog is configured with in-memory storage only. The identifier that groups your page views into one visit exists in the tab’s memory and is gone when you close it. No cookie, no local storage, nothing written to your device, so there is nothing to ask your consent for. The honest trade-off is on our side: we cannot tell a returning reader from a new one. If we ever change this, a consent request comes first.
Hosting and server logs
The site runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes requests on our behalf and handles the usual request metadata, including IP addresses, to serve pages and block abuse. Their processing is governed by their own terms as our processor.
Booking a call
The booking links go to Cal.com. Whatever you enter there — typically your name, email address, and a time — is handled by Cal.com under their privacy policy and sent on to us so we can meet you. We keep those details, and any email you send us, for as long as we are talking and for our own records afterwards.
Legal basis and your rights
Under the GDPR we rely on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) for aggregate audience measurement, and on taking steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b)) when you book a call. Turkish visitors’ data is processed under KVKK on the equivalent grounds.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing. Write to the address below. One limit worth stating plainly: because analytics is anonymous and stores nothing on your device, we have no way to find your page views among everyone else’s, so we cannot action a request about them. Booking and email records we can.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Türkiye that is the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
Children
This site is aimed at people evaluating a software studio. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.
